On Channel A's " I Heard Through the Grapevine" aired on Jun. 5, the hosts revealed that Pastor Park basically used his daughter name to scam people at the church. He fraud people up to 17.5 million USD and he was arrested in April for his crime. One of the panelists then commented that he spoke to Jenny after the incident and she said she didn't know how to pay back the 20 billion KRW, AllKpop reported.
Many netizens were angry finding out that Yenny's father used her name to fraud people when Yenny has worked really hard in the music industry. Also, they took pity on Yenny on saying that she didn't know what to do with the debt. They commented that Yenny shouldn't take the responsibility because she has nothing to do with his father's crime. Other people commented that his father should be put in jail for doing such a crime.
It is so sad having Yenny's father doing the big crime like a fraud because it affects Yenny so much. Yenny has worked in K-Pop industry since she was young with Wonder Girls and now she is having a new start with a new company. Instead of having a nice career ahead, Yenny has to help his father with his case and she is embarrassed with what her father's doing.
After leaving JYP Entertainment, Yenny joined Amoeba Culture and she changed her stage name into HA:TFELT. Together with Suran and other artists, they starred "Cross Country," and they also released the original soundtrack of the show, Moonrok reported.
There is still no official statement both from Yenny and Amoeba Culture but Yenny's fans keep on supporting her to be strong. They hope the case will be resolved soon and Yenny can have a comeback in the music industry.
