They may no longer be part of one YG family but Nam Tae Hyun is still showing the love of his former labelmate G-Dragon who is set to release his solo comeback tomorrow. The former WINNER member posted on his Instagram his excitement over the BIG BANG leader's album release.
On his Instagram post, Nam Tae Hyun captioned the snap of G-Dragon's title track "Bullsh*t," with the words "Heart pounding." Fans of the former WINNER member said on his thread that they are happy that even though Nam Tae Hyun has left YG, he is still supportive of his former labelmates, All Kpop reported.
It can be recalled that Nam Tae Hyun left YG Entertainment last year after the former main vocalist of WINNER and the label reached a mutual decision to part ways due to the artist's mental health issues. The remaining members of WINNER launched their comeback as a quartet this year with their successful album "Fate Number For."
Nam Tae Hyun, on the other hand, established his own label South Buyers Club to launch his new band South Club. The singer recently released the band's first single "Hug Me."
YG Entertainment boss Yang Hyun Suk also showed the love for his former artist by posting a screenshot of himself streaming Nam Tae Hyun's "Hug Me" on his phone. He also encouraged his millions of followers to check out the former WINNER member's new single with the use of hashtags. Fans of Nam Tae Hyun, who was receiving much hate online for leaving the K-pop group, were relieved with the development as it proved that there was no bad blood between the label and their former artist, Kpopstarz reported.
In an interview, Nam Tae Hyun opened up about the real reason he left WINNER and YG last year. While he admitted that he was saddened with having to leave his "home" and his WINNER family, he said that they had different paths to take. He did not elaborate further on the issue.
