BIGBANG's T.O.P has been isolating himself ever since his marijuana issue broke out. Before he was found unconscious on Tuesday night, T.O.P was not seen in public for 4 days.
Less than a week ago, T.O.P resumed his mandatory service in the military after he was indicted for using marijuana. The idol is currently stationed at Seoul's Metropolitan Police Department.
Since then, however, T.O.P has been isolating himself. As reported by All Kpop, the idol was not seen in the in public for few days prior to his hospitalization.
Peers of the idol also revealed that T.O.P has been living off solely of instant ramen cups for his daily meal. T.O.P regularly attends the police station to carry out his daily responsibilities. Other than that, however, the idol does not leave his dormitory.
After he tested positive for using marijuana, T.O.P released a handwritten letter. It contained the idol's apologies to the public and his fans.
In his letter, T.O.P added how he believes that he deserves whatever the punishment for bringing shame towards his co-BIGBANG members, YG Entertainment, and his family as well. "My heart hurts, and I am very disappointed in myself," wrote T.O.P.
T.O.P also wrote how he plans to look back and reflect on himself. The idol also vowed never to make the same mistakes again. "I am very embarrassed by myself. I'm sorry," said the idol.
T.O.P was found unconscious on the evening of June 6 inside his military base. He was immediately rushed to the Ewha Woman's University Mokdong Hospital and placed in ICU.
As reported by Soompi, the doctors who held a press conference on June 7, 4 p.m. KST revealed that T.O.P overdosed of his medicine "benzodiazepine". The medicine was used to treat T.O.P's already existing anxiety disorder.
On the same day, the hashtag "#StayStrongTOP" trended over on Twitter as fans all over the world hoped for the idol's recovery. As of this writing, there is still no news of T.O.P getting better.
