VIXX Now Becoming the New Rising Idol?

VIXX came back with their first mini album. Their title song, "Hyde," has dominated music charts upon release.

In the middle of May when all the big-name solo artists and idol groups are putting out fierce competition, snatching the number one spot is so no small feat. Even before the album release, VIXX created a lot of buzz with their seminude album covers and R-rated horror teasers.

Reflecting the rise of their popularity, VIXX's leader N has reached 100,000 in Twitter followers.

A rare move for a relatively young idol group, VIXX manufactured 50,000 album CDs and surprised many industry associates, while selling out the tickets to their showcase in less than 10 minutes.

VIXX showed that they deserve the rising popularity and fandom during their showcase on May 20. With excellent live performances and humorous comments in between songs, VIXX provided a total entertainment.

Jelly Fish, the management company for VIXX, commented on the backbone of their popularity. "They have been focusing on making improvements each day in all aspects of their lives as musicians. We think that has brought them to a place where they can succeed."

VIXX will stage performances of their title song, "Hyde," in various music shows on major TV networks.
