Lee Min Ho's latest documentary series entitled, "DMZ, the Wild," has just aired last June 12. It is a three part series which chronicles the wildlife inside the infamous Demilitarized Zone which is also called as DMZ.

The location of the documentary series is four kilometers in diameter which serves as the place which separated North Korea and South Korea. Its first episode aired last June 12 at 11:15 p.m. Lee Min Ho is physically present in all of the filming locations of the DMZ documentary. According to Korea Times, Lee Min Ho has physically experienced the wild animals present in the place such as the ocelots, otters, yellow boas and other exotic animals. It is indeed a place which is untouched by people.

Reports also have it that Lee Min Ho has experienced seeing for himself how wild boars eat each other and show that they are really cannibals. This just shows the hard life where animals need to fight for survival. MBC TV, the producer of "DMZ, the Wild," says that they have captured the great wildlife of DMZ. Lee Min Ho is currently working as a social welfare worker in the southern portion of Seoul.

The reason behind this is that he is unable to serve the military due to the two car accidents that he has been through which he had sustained injuries from. This happened way back in 2006 and the other one in 2011. For now, "DMZ, the Wildlife," is enjoying high TV ratings and will continue to do so in the next couple of weeks.
