Even after Taylor Swift had a disgusted reaction to Selena Gomez's kiss with Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez defended her best friend at a new interview this morning, saying that Taylor Swift is "amazing."

A few days ago, a video of Taylor Swift's apparent disgusted reaction to the couple's backstage kiss at the 2013 Billboard Awards went viral. The singer-songwriter, after seeing Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber kissing backstage, made a disgusted face that was caught on tape.

Since Taylor Swift expressed her disapproval of Justin Bieber behind Selena Gomez's back, many would have expected Selena Gomez to be upset with her best friend.  

However, at a recent interview with Nick Grimshaw on Radio 1's Breakfast Show in London this morning, Selena Gomez did not let this incident ruin her close friendship with Taylor Swift. Instead, she came to Swift's side to support her music.

According to Sugarscape, Gomez recommended that everyone listen to Taylor Swift's music when going through a relationship breakup, implying that she herself  also listened to Swift's music during her breakup with Justin Bieber.

She also calls Taylor Swift an "amazing person," suggesting that the two will still continue to be close friends, despite the Billboard Awards incident.

An insider claimed to Hollywood Life that "Selena will remain friends with Taylor regardless of her dating Justin. Selena knows that Taylor is not a threat to their relationship physically and will overall make her own decisions."

On the way to her interview in London, she also joked around with fans who were waiting, and pulled goofy faces as she posed for pictures with the fans.

Despite her on-and-off relationship with Justin Bieber and her best friend Taylor Swift's disapproval of her boyfriend, Selena Gomez remains positive and said that she is excited to be participating in promotional activities in London.
