Song Joong Ki Was Disappointed With Song Hye Kyo Because of This

Song Joong Ki and Song Hye Kyo recently announced their marriage and wedding plans. However, not everything was sunshine and daisies as the actor revealed he started to feel stressed and one thing did disappoint him during their public announcement.

Song Joong Ki had stated that he was the one who suggested that the couple make their relationship public with one major reason in mind. His initial plan was to make the big reveal after his current movie premiere 'The Battleship Island.' Unfortunately, rumors started circulating and fast that the two were dating. The rumors started to surface and surround Song Hye Kyo until Song Joong Ki decided it was time to make the reveal.

"I told Song Hye Kyo that I wanted to be the first person to announce the marriage news. Ideally, in the perfect world, I wanted everyone to find out about my marriage after "The Battleship Island" premiered."

"However, life doesn't always work out the way you plan it to and that's when I told Song Hye Kyo that we should announce the marriage. I am deeply apologetic over the fact that my marriage news overpowered the movie premiere," said Song Joong Ki.

Song Joong Ki revealed his disappointment came from the fact that their marriage announcement drowned out the hype surrounding his and Song Hye Kyo's current projects. Song Joong Ki felt that his marriage would draw away the attention to a sensitive cultural topic involving Japan enslavement that can be found in 'The Battleship Island.'

What do you think of Song Joong Ki's honest heart? Did this help boost his fame and draw in more attention or did it really pull away from his film and hard work? Let us know.
