Hit Korean girl group TWICE has found absolute success in Japan as they are starting off with a spectacular debut!
The girls had recently left to Japan to promote their overseas repackaged album '#TWICE' featuring their hit songs, thus marking their official debut into the Japanese market. Their album has already reached the amazing feat of over 250,000 sales!
On August 10, The Recording Industry Association of Japan revealed that TWICE's debut album has sold over 250,000 copies and has been certified as a platinum record! This is just shortly after the girl group surpassed the 100,000 mark which is considered a Gold seller.
The girls are continuing to meet with success as even two of their MVs have reached well over the 200 Million viewer mark, which earned them the title of being the first K-Pop girl group to achieve such viewership! With this much success, they are guaranteed to sweep the Oricon Charts in Japan and more!
Congratulations to TWICE for having a successful debut!
