What Happened After A K-Pop Band Went Nude On Stage?

Performing nude? Completely unheard of in the world of K-Pop, however, this Korean boy band shocked broadcasting viewers and audiences alike when they went completely nude on stage!

The boy band named Rux formed in 1996 and debuted in 1999. They helped lead the punk-rock music phase in Korea at the time until their short hiatus. After returning, the group seemed to have become exhibitionists as two of the group members started the largest broadcasting controversy in 2005.

During a nationwide broadcast of their live performance on 'Music Camp,' (which was soon canceled after the incident) two members immediately undressed towards the end of the performance. The audience, which consisted mostly of females, were absolutely shocked and the broadcasting station was unable to remove their performance from their live stream in time.

The group was immediately arrested for indecent exposure and disrupting public business. The Korean Broadcasting Commission laid down heavier laws regarding live streaming and what is aired on TV. Cancelling 'Music Camp' was their first sign of enforcing their new, strict policy. You can check out the live down below which still remains on YouTube to this day.
