The members of INFINITE contracts recently expired with their entertainment company Woolim Entertainment. While some members have renewed their contracts, others did not.
The seven member boy group has now become six as member Hoya has decided to not resign his contract with Woolim and INFINITE. Since their contract expired in June, fans were on the edge of their seats wondering if this meant disbandment for the classic K-Pop boy group. Now, there will only be a change in the lineup.
Hoya nor Woolim Entertainment have come forward with a statement in regards to INFINITE's future career or Hoya's individual career. The boy group had formed back in 2010, making them another victim of the 7 year curse. Their last song was "The Eye" back in September of 2016.
As of now, there are no rumors or speculations as to why Hoya would leave or if he is pursuing a career in a different field. Stay tuned for more updates.
