Psy Set To Perform At Thursday's Social Star Awards In Singapore: First-Ever Awards Show Features Round-The-Clock Action
Psy is set to perform at the inaugural Social Star Awards in Singapore Thursday, an awards show which has been actively presenting awards the past 24 hours.
"The Social Star Awards will be a unique 24 hour event with an incredible 288 awards (one every 5 minutes) presented to the biggest stars and brands across the world," reads a press release.
"At the Social Star Awards the world will shine a spotlight on Singapore to discover the world's most popular stars in social media globally over the past 12 months this 3-hour celebration."
Awards include "Most Popular Actor", "Music Group", "Solo Artist", "Film," and the coveted "The Almight" award, for the most popular person in social media.
The South Korean superstar, with over 2.8 million followers on Twitter, recently posted about the Awards and his upcoming performance as a sign of support.

The award show, hosted by "Entourage" star Jeremy Piven and Jessica Alba, is culminated by a star-studded red carpet event featuring some of the world's most influential pop figures, like, Aerosmith, Carly Rae Jepsen, and LMFAO's Sky Blu, reports Channel NewsAsia.
Among them is Psy, with record-breaking views for "Gangnam Style" and "Gentleman" on YouTube, where the event will also stream live.
"YouTube has worked hard over the years to connect fans with the creators they love," said Vice President of Marketing at YouTube Danielle Tiedt.
"We've helped fans discover new artists and creators and we've helped creators discover new audiences and go global quickly. In 2012, Carly Rae Jepsen and Psy were able to use our platform to share their music across the world. And we look forward to showcasing their talent, as well as that of the other Social Stars, live on YouTube at this year's Social Star Awards."
