Brooke Mueller has apparently never been alone with her twin boys, a new report claims. 

Mueller has two children with ex-husband Charlie Sheen, twin boys, Max and Bob, 4.  Brooke may never regain custody because of recent reports that she went to rehab twice for crystal meth while pregnant and, now, because sources say she simply can't care for them and has never been alone with the boys.

Denise Richards has taken custody of the boys for now, while Mueller is in rehab. She's at the Betty Ford clinic and is in rehab for the 30^th time. Sources Lindsay Lohan and Mueller have been friendly, but that Lindsay wasn't sure about Mueller at first. A source said that Brooke's attempts at striking up a friendship were "creeping Lindsay out", and she wouldn't even be in group sessions with Mueller.

Lindsay reportedly even visited with the boys a few days ago, when they were taken to the Betty Ford Clinic to visit their mom. Mueller's definitely not showing them a good role model in Lindsay, and Mueller has caught flack for letting them hang out with her. Sadly, a court official took the boys - but at least they got to see their mom.

A source said, "Brooke has never been alone with the twins, ever. Since the time they were born, she has always had nannies, or help from her family. She doesn't know how to care for Bob and Max's basic daily needs, and views them as play things."

Mueller went to rehab twice for crystal meth while pregnant. "She went to rehab twice because she was using drugs," an insider said. "It just shows how far gone Brooke is with her battle of using crystal meth. The fact that she couldn't stay sober while carrying Bob and Max caused Charlie [Sheen] great anguish."

The source said, "The boys would spend the majority of their time with their nannies. Brooke would try and eat breakfast with them, if she was able to be roused in the mornings. Brooke never goes to the twins' preschool, in which the parents are encouraged to participate. It's always the nannies."

Now, it seems Mueller may never be able to get her children back. Report after report has swirled about her behavior...and, from never being alone with them to using crystal meth while pregnant, it's not looking good.
