With the news of Girls' Generation's possible disbandment happening after members Tiffany, Seohyun and Sooyoung have decided to depart from the group after refusing to renew their contracts with SM Entertainment, fans were curious as to what previous member Jessica had thought about the situation.
Jessica was dismissed from the group back in 2014 after deciding to focus more on her personal career and fashion brand 'BLANC & ECLARE.' Despite the rather rough and burning bridge ending from Girls' Generation, Jessica proved to be successful on her own both as a solo artist and designer. But the departure of these three members is actually affecting Jessica today!
It was reported that a day after the news had broken out about Girls' Generation, Jessica had uploaded a photo to her Instagram of her leaning back in a chair rather alluring with the caption reading, "Sit back, relax and enjoy the show." Some anti-fans and netizens immediately wondered if she was referencing the girl group's disbandment negatively and indirectly.
While others felt that anti-fans were taking her message out of context, it didn't stop users from harassing her in the comment section and posing their distaste in her timing. It got so severe that Jessica had to disable comments on her Instagram just to avoid the hate. This was the only action she has taken so far in response to fan's accusations. Soon after, she posted a comment saying that it was a reference towards her current show in Hong Kong.
Hopefully, Jessica can continue on with the hate from SONES.
