Singer-actor Nam Woo Hyun of INFINITE recently dropped a concept photo revealing details of his third mini album.
With him wearing a swoon-worthy look - backdropped by a night-time city scene - the image bears his solo comeback's title and release date, which is on May 7. This follows his last offering, a digital single called "A Song For You," which came out in December last year.
Back in April 25, his agency Woolim Entertainment has confirmed the reports about his return to the music scene.
"It's true that Nam Woo Hyun is currently preparing for a new album. There are many song that he has been preparing for a long time, so he plans to make a comeback with a new album soon," the company said in a press release.
"Despite his busy schedule of appearing in musicals 'The Days' and 'Manifesto,' and preparing for his Asian tour, [he] worked hard to create this album. We hope everyone will be excited for the new album that will be coming out soon," they further remarked.
According to reports, "A New Journey," will feature six tracks -- with two credited to him as the songwriter and four as the melody composer. Woo Hyun has previously showcased his songwriting and composing skills with his tracks "Everyday," "I Love You," "Stand By Me," and "You're My Lady."
Apart from his musical comeback, the 28-year-old K-pop star is also currently embarking on an Asia Tour, which commenced on April 27 during the "Arbor Day in Taipei" at the Taipei International Convention Center."
The tour will also bring the K-pop versatile to Macau, with a show slated on June 2.
In an earlier statement, Woolim Entertainment said that this tour is in response to the "requests from many fans abroad from all over the world immediately after [his] domestic concert."
From November 2 to 4 last year, Woo Hyun staged his first solo concert titled "Arbor Day." The immensely successful show (tickets sold out in just two minutes after they were released) was held as the Blue Square in Seoul.
Woohyun, together with other INFINITE members, was launched in the entertainment scene back in June 2010. It was in May 2016 when he made his solo debut with his first mini album, "Write."
