BTS came face to face with international reporters for a special press conference, which was held before their momentous concerts at Wembley Stadium.
BTS is one of the South Korean groups to have their world tour this year. One of the places that the seven-member boy band will have their tour "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" is at Wembley Stadium in London for two days, from June 1 to 2. And on March 2, 2019, it was announced that BTS sold out the venue in just 90 minutes, which can accommodate 90,000 people.
The boy group made history becoming the first ever Korean artists to sell out the legendary stadium. They are now amongst the major artists and bands that achieve such accomplishment, together with Michael Jackson, Madonna, Queen, Beyonce, Spice Girls, One Direction, Oasis, Eminem, Take That, Ed Sheeran, and many more.
But before stepping on the stage at the famous Wembley, RM, Jin, J-Hope, Jungkook, V, and Suga attended a question and answer session with the reporters. All members showed up with their dashing grey suits from Thom Browne. Wearing their precious smiles, the boys expressed their excitement for the near concert.
According to Jungkook, the maknae of the group, the original plan was only to hold one concert in London. But thanks to ARMYs and support of everyone, they decided to add one more day. He also stated that they would try their best on the stage.
Moving forward, they named the British artists they would like to work with in the future. First to answer was V. He said that he loves Coldplay and listens to them all the time. And if given a chance, V would like to collaborate with them.
In addition to that, RM, BTS' leader, also mentioned about his dream collaboration. He said that it would be a huge honor if they can work with Paul McCartney.
When asked about their decision of broadcasting their concert live through a global livestream on Naver V Live+, Suga was the one who answered. He replied that he thinks that Wembley is a very symbolic venue. And as a singer, you only dream of climbing a few stages, and he presumed that if they found themselves performing at Wembley, he had an urge to pass on this emotionally moving moment to a lot of people.
He added that he had difficulty going to sleep because of the thought that he would be bringing the house down at Wembley. He thinks that it will be an exciting and fun experience.
Meanwhile, BTS has just recently ended their performance for the first day of their "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself" at Wembley Stadium last night. The boys are now preparing surprises for around 180,000 ARMYs on the second day of the two-day party.
