Park Bom Sheds Tears During Fanmeeting in Taipei

K-Pop artist Park Bom became emotional during her fan meeting in Taipei.

In addition, Park Bom sang several tracks from her albums, such as "Spring," "4:44," and "You&I." During her performance, singing "You&I," the artist began to choke up and burst into tears. She then apologized after getting herself together, which resulted in the audience singing "You&I" to her instead.

The part where former 2NE1 member Park Bom cried is when she sang the lyrics: "I haven't done anything for you, and I lack at times But today, I'm singing this song for you Tonight, behind your two eyes and a smile, I can see the pain you're hiding from me."

The song "You&I" is the idol's debut solo track, which was released on October 8, 2009. It is one of the three solo digital singles launched by YG Entertainment's 2NE1, wherein Bom was the main vocalist of the group. "You&I" talks about a tragic love story.

Though the single is all about losing the love of your life, it probably is not the main reason why Bom cried, but it reminds her of her past and what she went through. In 2014, she was announced to have been under investigation concerning drugs, wherein she was diagnosed with ADHD and was using drugs that are legal in the United States but not in Korea. She said in an interview, conducted last March of 2019 that she had a hard time because of it. What's worse, the following years were rough on Bom, especially for her mental health and sleeping.

But since she signed a contract with D-Nation Entertainment, the artist said in the interview, "I am getting better, and it's because of a new family. Because of what happened to me, I grew up, and I feel even more grateful. I appreciate everything the fans are doing, what they write on Instagram." Bom added that she sits down and read the comments, and even think about what she can do to return the love to her fans.

Following "You&I" is Bom's second digital single entitled "Don't Cry," which was released on April 21, 2011. This song is about a female celebrity that remembers her long lost love. Her "Spring" album was then revealed on February 15, 2019.
