ITZY takes home 6th trophy for 'ICY' on Music Bank

Upon the announcement of their victory, the look of surprise was evident on the quintet's faces, specifically on Yeji's. The group then expressed their gratitude to their fans for the continuous support.

The episode also featured performances from ITZY, JBJ95, CIX, NCT Dream, VERIVERY, TRCNG, GWSN, W24, DONGKIZ, The Rose, Rocket Punch, D1CE, Busters, Oh My Girl, Shin Hyun Lee, Weki Meki, FANATICS, Chonam Zone, and FLASHE.

Moreover, it was the first time for Yeji to perform with her hair down. The girl group's main dancer always had her hair tied up, in pigtails or in ponytails. Thus, seeing her straight locks swaying freely was such a sight to behold.

It was only last week when ITZY snatched their 3rd win for the summer track. While thanking their fans, the quintet also expressed their gratitude to Park Jin Young, revealing that the agency giant's big man was the one who produced ICY and even dubbed it as the "summer song of 2019."

The group was quoted saying: "Thank PD Park Jin Young for writing this song for us, thank the company staff members. We also love Midzy (fandom name). Thank you."

The music video flaunted a flamboyant theme, with the members separately strutting on various areas, such as on the street, in the hallways of a presumed hotel or school, and inside a diner. The five members were all clad in totally rad streetwear and glitzy OOTDs in other scenes. It's also safe to assume that the filming of the video was conducted overseas.

And since ITZY loves to provide content for their Midzys, the group just recently released their performance video for ICY. As of press time, the 3-minute and 19-second video is just less than a million away from hitting 4 million views, whilst the original MV now has acquired a staggering 65 million views.

On top of that, a couple of behind-the-scenes footage of the making of the music video has been shared by the quintet as well. The first one was published on Tuesday, August 13, while the second one was on Friday, August 16 - with over 400,000 and 94,000 views, respectively. This two documentation revealed that the music video was shot in Los Angeles.

A lot of fans flooded the two videos with positive remarks. Others could be seen requesting JYP Entertainment to incorporate English subtitles soon for the international fans, a mere proof that ITZY is also making waves abroad.
