Girl's Day's Hyeri began gearing up for her forthcoming tvN drama, Miss Lee. While on the set, BLACKPINK's Rosé sent her a coffee truck on the filming site as her way to cheer on the idol-actress on her new project.
The stall also had a banner with a photo of Hyeri clad in casual clothing and written text at the bottom, "To the staff of 'Miss Lee,' please gain strength by having a refreshing coffee. Hyeri, good luck! From: Chaeng."
Hyeri was ultimately touched by Park Chae Young's (Rosé's real name) gesture and reciprocated it with sincere gratitude on Instagram. She took to her page and shared a snap of her posing with the "peace" sign while holding a cup of coffee. In her caption, she wrote: "A boost of strength thanks to Chae Young. I had no idea but I was so touched. Thanks to you, I'm not hot at all."
Then, Rosé replied under her post with, "Love you."
It's not the first time that the two exhibited their friendship. In January this year, the two shared the same snap of Tiramisu on their respective Instagram Stories, making the fans rule out that they were out together. A plethora of fans speculates that Hyeri and Rosé became close after appearing together on the variety program Amazing Saturday.
In the episode, one of the two ladies' interactions was when they shared that they both like sikhye (traditional Korean sweet rice beverage). Rosé was the first one to reveal it to others upon being offered one, then Hyeri responded to her with, "Me too." The BLACKPINK member then offered Hyeri some, to which the latter respectfully declined.
Meanwhile, Hyeri will headline the upcoming drama alongside Kim Sang Kyung, Cha Seo Won, Uhm Hyun Kyung, Baek Ji Won, Kim Eung Soo, Jung Hee Tae, and Kim Hyung Mook.
Miss Lee is a comedy plot about the employees of a small and struggling electronics company that is on the verge of bankruptcy. Hyeri plays the titular role, Lee Seon Shim, who assumes the CEO chair of the company in spite of lacking qualifications for the position. Kim Sang Kyung's character, Yoo Jin Wook, is the company's department head and is Miss Lee's mentor.
Uhm Hyun Kyun, on the other hand, portrays Goo Ji Na, the pretty accounting department head. Given her beauty and influence, she makes companies do whatever she says. She is said to have a huge effect on Miss Lee's life.
The series is helmed by Han Dong Hwa, the same director of Bad Guys 2 and Squad 38, and is written by Park Jung Hwa.
