Before hitting the stage, the sextet-comprised of Yerin, Sowon, Yuju, Eunha, Umji, and SinB-had an interview with E! Asia to talk about them being chosen for the forthcoming K-pop documentary show. They also opened up about their new album, the secret behind their flawless dance skills, among others.
Such a role to be the K-pop industry's representative in the upcoming BBC show took the six girls by surprise.
"Honestly when we first received the offer to appear in the documentary we were really surprised. We really answered the interview questions very sincerely so we hope that everyone will enjoy watching it," Umji said.
"Personally, as it was filmed during a time where we were busy in the midst of our promotions, there were a lot of sides to us that we were not able to show. I hope that next time if we were to have such an opportunity again, we would love to show a more complete image, and a more honest side to us," the group's sub-vocals added.
And while they were on the subject matter, the members suddenly revealed that they have never been on holiday vacation as a group. Real fans would actually recall that they had a fun adventure in The Friends in the Adriatic Sea ft. GFriend, but the six ladies shared that they dream of going on to summer holiday getaway.
"Going to the sea or the valley would be fine, after our tour ends, I think it would be great for us to go on a summer holiday even if it is for a show," SinB said.
"We would love to go on a holiday on our own without any cameras. Because we have never had one like that before," she went on.
Speaking about their album Fever Season, Sowon shared, "We worked really hard to present a more mature side of us in this album. We have included many different sides of us in this album, and it is an album where you can see how much GFriend has grown."
Eunha then added, "Something we are very grateful for is to have achieved six wins on music broadcasts, so we were able to wrap up promotions happily. We are really happy to have received so much love."
When asked about the secret behind their "crisp" dance movements, SinB spilled, "I think the secret to our synchronized choreography is building our teamwork through many years of being together. Before debuting, our training periods were all very long."
She added, "This is the 5th year since our debut and we have been working together all this time. Even when we don't have much practice time together, because we are so used to match with each other, it just naturally becomes synchronized choreography."
