Hyoyeon Partakes at SMile Music Festival to Teach Underprivileged Children

Girls' Generation's Hyoyeon participated and inspired several kids at SMile Music Festival.

Posted on the official Facebook page of the SMile Music Festival are photos taken during the dance session with the GG member. It can be seen in the pictures that Hyoyeon showed a positive reaction towards the participants, and even had a great interaction with them. Her smiling face on the images is solid proof that she was happy to be there with them on that essential day.

Written as the caption of the post is: "Artist coaching happened at the first SMile Music Festival last Saturday. Skills were improved. The mentors did not hesitate and continued to give encouragement and pieces of advice to each team to the point where both mentors and participants had no time to take a break. The dancing was as hot as the weather. Dance mentor Hyoyeon took part and received an enthusiastic reaction together with Jea and Producing Director Peter. Keep a lookout for us!"

Hyoyeon alongside her Girls' Generation members has been doing philanthropic and charity works since 2010. For several times, the girls have donated their personal items to put on sale for the charity. One time, members Yoona, Hyoyeon, and Seohyun gave some of their own for Charity Bazaar "S.E.S 10th Green Heart Bazaar," which took place on April 21, 2018. The money that was collected in that event was handed to Green Umbrella ChildFund & Korea Animal Rights Advocates (KARA).

In addition, the group even once purchased eight tons of rice using their own money and gave it as a donation, which ended up benefiting approximately 70,000 people. The girl group has also worked to raise funds for organizations like the Make-A-Wish Foundation, UNICEF, Red Cross Society, Korean Association against Blindness, and many more.

But aside from Hyoyeon with the dance lessons, SM Entertainment staff along with Peter-PD were in charge of the band team, wherein they listened to students who sang and played instruments like the drums, guitar, and keyboard.

We hope that each participant as well as the mentors who were at the festival had a fantastic time together, and learned something from each other. SMile Music Festival was also accomplished last 2018, and it appears that it would be an annual occurrence.
