BtoB is a South Korean boy band formed in 2012 by Cube Entertainment. The group consists of Seo Eun-Kwang, Lee Min-hyuk, Lee Chang-sub, I'm Hyun-Sik, Peniel Shin, Jung Il-hoon, and Yook Sung-Jae. ITZY's Yuna shared the story of how she was unexpectedly scouted by JYP Entertainment!
On August 21, ITZY appeared as guests on MBC Standard FM's "Idol Radio," which is hosted by BTOB's Ilhoon. At one point during the show, Ilhoon interrupted the proceedings to ask, "Wait, we've just received a report. Does it say that Yuna was able to debut because of me? What does that mean?" Like he is surprised to know it.
Yuna explained that she had caught the eye of a scout while attending a year-end awards show, recalling, "It was at the 2015 KBS Song Festival, which takes place at the end of the year. My older sister went to see it because she was a fan of BTOB" She tagged along even though she's not a fan. "So you caught the eye of a staff member at the Song Festival?" asked Ilhoon, and Yuna replied, "Yes, I was lucky enough to receive a great opportunity, and I ended up joining the JYP family."
Ilhoon jokingly concluded, "Liking BTOB brings you great luck," and the ITZY members agreed, "It seems that way."
So if you really want to be like Yuna, try BTOB charm?
Yuna is part of ITZY a K-Pop girl group that formed by JYP Entertainment and officially debuted on February 12th, 2019 with "Dalla Dalla." ITZY is composed of five members. The quintet smashed the previous record of most views on a debut music video in 24 hours with over 13 million views. The five members of it are Ryujin, Chaeryeong, Lia, and Yeji and last but not the least, Yuna. Yuna is the girl who was chosen to replace Somi's position in ITZY. Before Somi was in the pre-debut line-up of ITZY and her center position in this rookie girl group of JYP was so ensured. However, after Somi suddenly left JYP, Shin Yuna was chosen to be in ITZY at the last minute.
