Sunmi Talks About Career Plans In her Interview

Sunmi thought deeply about her career and gave a shout out to other young artists on KBS 2TV's 'Entertainment Weekly".

Sunmi appeared on the broadcast of the show for her comeback with "Lalalay." She was able to join her large group of supportive fans at Han River for the "guerrilla date" segment of the event. She said that it was great to be with so many people up close.

She used to always come across the Han River during her schedules but she was not able to stop by. She said that the weather was fine and it wasn't too hot.

Host Kim Tae Jin was able to interview Sunmi. She talked about her recent world tour. Due to her sold-out Europe shows, she got the chance to appear on the nine o'clock news in Korea.

Kim Tae Jin asked about her successful career as she was able to debut at the age of 16 years old with Wonder Girls. Her 13th anniversary is coming soon. Sunmi viewed their performance in the song "Irony," she said that as a Wonder Girls' member she was supposed to keep her youthful and innocent image. She said that she has changed a lot and she was showing tough expressions while performing.

Sunmi reflected on her past and said that she did not notice how time flies. She said that she was very young when she debuted and now she is 28 years old.

Lee Tae Jin jokingly said, "Right, we've changed presidents three times in the span of your career!"

Finally, Sunmi shared her future goals, saying, "I think Korean artists can also take No. 1 on the Billboard charts. I hope I will be one of them.

She was asked which recent girl group caught her attention. Sunmi said, "ITZY. When I watch them, I think to myself that I should do as well and better than them."

Life will give you challenges and you need to be brave enough to face them. Success is not an easy path and you need support from the people who believe in your capabilities.
