Bolbbalgan4 has shared the tracklist for new mini-album "Two Five."
Moreover, the album is reported to be consists of music that is entirely different from their previous released ones.
On the 2nd of April this year, 2019, Bolbbalgan4 made their comeback with the album titled "Youth Diary 1: Flower Energy." This is the first time the girls released an extended play in almost a year since their track "Travel," which was launched in May 2018.
"Youth Diary 1: Flower Energy" features light-hearted melodies that present an inward-looking and somewhat heart-wrenching story about youth and love. It consists of five tracks that boost their musical identity and adds new flavor into their musical collection. The EP includes three title tracks called "Bom," "Stars Over Me," and "Mermaid," alongside two other songs "Picnic" and "Seattle Alone." Overall, "Youth Diary 1: Flower Energy" redefines the usual windy season of spring.
Furthermore, the title track "Bom" of Bolbbalgan's fourth mini-album ranked high on major realtime charts. Only less than one day of its release, the song grabbed the number one spot on all seven charts such as Melon, Genie, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada, Naver, and Flo.
On another news, the duo recently received a platinum certification from Gaon Chart. On April 11, BOL4's "Travel" of their third mini-album "Red Diary Page.2" was announced to reach 100 million downloads, thus earning the said award. Also, the song previously attained the same certification when "Travel" surpassed 100 million streams.
Bolbbalgan4 is a duo under Shofar Music that debuted on April 22, 2016 with the single "Fight Day." The members Jiyoung and Jiyoon were actually classmates back then. The two are also called "Blushing Youth" - Jiyoung represent the "blushing" part of the group's name because she is shy all the time, while Jiyoon portrays the "youth" as she behaves like an adolescent girl.
Aside from their own singles and albums, Bolbbagan4 is also known for singing several original soundtracks they sang for Korean dramas. Some of the OSTs are "Hidden Path" for "Misaeng OST part 4" and "Dream" for "Hwarang OST part 3."
