Female singer Wheein shared another official teaser for her upcoming solo track!
The MV continues and presents Wheein happily going in circles inside the house. The video concluded with the singer jumping on the sofa then on the floor.
The previous days, Wheein has been releasing other teasers for her solo release. On September 1 and 2, she unveiled her two concept photos. At the end of August, on the other hand, she revealed three prologue videos.
The first video, which was issued on August 29, is titled "Making Prologue #0" that displays Wheein getting creative as she paints and a clip of her inside a recording studio. On August 30, the second record was publicized, featuring Wheein teaming up with producer Jung Key on her title track "Let's Break Up."
Lastly, on August 31, the third prologue video uncovers Wheein at her songwriting process, at some point knowing the comparison between love and probationary sentence. In the clip, she can also be seen working with Oh Min, and shared, "I have been working with him for seven years. He is like my soulmate." Moreover, the video displays the two in a studio painting together, and Wheein stated, "I decided to create a painting because I wanted my album to be something creative."
Last month, the songstress was reported to struggle with anxiety and stress. Thus she was unable to attend the 2019 Soribada Best K-Music Awards, which took place on August 22. Also, she was absent at KCON 2019 LA due to the same reason. Now that she is coming back with a solo release, it only shows that she has finally recovered.
"Soar" is actually Wheein's second solo album. She debuted as a solo artist on April 17, 2018 with the single "Easy" featuring Sik-K. The track is included in the album of the same name, in which she worked hard and participated in producing it. "Easy" marks her solo debut after four years of being a MAMAMOO member.
Meanwhile, "Soar" will be released on September 4 at 6 p.m. KST.
