Joy, in the Western reckoning, celebrated her 23rd birthday. A couple of hashtags, "You Are Our Joy" and Korean characters that translates to "Joy is nearby, like Park Soo Young", were made to reveal her special day. The latter is also a play on words referenced from the lyrics of Umpah Umpah, the quintet's latest summer comeback.
On Twitter, a plethora of Reveluvs wrote lovesome messages to the singer.

Meanwhile, Joy recently graced the comedy-variety program "Ask Us Anything" alongside Irene Kim and Jang Yoon Joo. The three ladies are currently the hosts of "Get it Beauty 2019" on OnStyle.
The episode begins with Jang Yoon Joo introducing herself, jestingly attempting to steal the spotlight by striking unique poses. Seo Jang Hoon then seemingly backs her antics up by telling her that she deserves a Grand Prize for her comedic skills, to which the former agrees and does another set of impromptu song and dance performance.
Super Junior's Kim Heechul then pulls a joke on Joy and tells her, "Your name is Joy, but you were 'Angry.'" This was in reference to her previous guesting.
Joy responds to him with, "[Seo] Jang Hoon kept bothering me on that day. I'm sorry, Jang Hoon!"
Kang Ho Dong proceeds to ask about Irene Kim's height, jokingly telling her that she got taller, to which the model shouts back with, "No!" She adds her response with, "Model! I'm an influencer." The comedian tells her, "That's a virus."
After the female model struts and flaunts her modeling skills, the three ladies give the show's cast a makeover. The episode will premiere on September 7.
