Oh My Girl's agency has released a statement with regard to Jiho's health.
WME said, "After being checked and treated by a medical team at the event, Jiho promptly went back to Seoul and is now resting with her family." The company then apologized to everyone who attended the fiesta, especially for those who had been waiting for Oh My Girl's performance, as well as to the fans who are worried about Jiho. WM Entertainment remarked, "We will do our best for our artist's health and recovery."
The agency ended their statement asking for an apology for not being able to make a quick announcement about Jiho's condition and said that they would reveal the progress of the idol's improvement as soon as they can.
On August 31, Oh My Girl performed several of their songs at the Gangwon International Motor Festa. During the stage for their latest song "Bungee," fans noticed that Jiho almost collapsed and was unable to dance properly. The other members saw it too, and so they asked the staff to stop playing the song. All of Oh My Girl members went down the stage together and took care of Jiho.
A video of that incident was uploaded by a fan on Twitter. Some comments say, " I am so sad for them," "I am really worried about their schedule and also about their management," "That poor girl, she needs rest, looks like she was feeling unwell," "I heard that Jiho was not feeling well, so they made YooA, who currently has a bad leg, perform on stage without providing her a chair. Is this company out of its mind?"
On another news, WM Entertainment recently announced that Oh My Girl would have a solo concert that will be held for two days from September 28 to 29, called "2019 Autumn Fairy Tale -- Black Label." Considering that, fans are now concerned whether the girls would be able to accomplish the two-day concert without having further injuries or complications.
Also, Oh My Girl is one of the six teams that is currently participating in Mnet's survival show "Queendom" that premiered on August 29. It airs every Thursday at 9:20 p.m. KST.
