Ryujin courageously "called out" the staff of JYP Entertainment and began her mini-performance with, "Listen well, JYP! Why do you work like that?" The other ITZY members were shocked upon her mention of the agency's employees, and Lia was even spotted making the "o" face. Yeji, on the other hand, was giggling on her seat and clapping in amusement.
Fret not because Ryujin didn't mean any harm. In fact, she was only expressing her concern to the company staff for working so hard and restlessly.
She went on with her rap, "You work so well. Take some rest while working. Use your monthly-paid days-off too."
In spite of her good intentions though, she was graded "F" by Jung Hyung Don for not dissing anyone as it was actually supposed to be a "rap battle." Ryujin said it was her "sincerity."
Meanwhile, ITZY was recently featured in Billboard where they talked about how thankful they are to their achievements and their future as a group.
"Ever since our debut, we always search "ITZY" and we always read those precious letters and comments of our fans, along with the press releases that we're mentioned in. We're really honored and thankful for the attention and we always motivate ourselves to be a group worthy of those words," they began.
It is undeniable that the girl group has been growing, sneaking its way to gain further international attention.
"Many great artists before us have been representing K-pop globally, and we grew our dream watching them. It would be an honor to represent and receive a chance to perform in front of our global fans, just like our senior (former) artists. We want to be part of the influence great music and performance," they shared.
When asked about what they look forward to in the future, they said, "We made our first appearance with 'Dalla Dalla,' and now we're back with 'Icy.' In between, we also got a fandom name called 'Midzy' - meaning 'trust' in Korean. We're really grateful for what happened in just six months, but we feel the need to practice and work harder since this is only the start."
"We promise to be back with great music and performance, so please look forward to us!" The group assured.
