IZ*ONE has shared the second MV teaser for their new Japanese single "Vampire"!
In the past few days, the girl group has been teasing fans with their individual photos and the first MV teaser for "Vampire." The single album will be available in two regular editions including Type A and Type B, as well as WIZ*ONE board edition, the individual member's board editions, and the full CD Box edition.
"Vampire" is the group's third Japanese single and fifth overall.
IZ*ONE made their Japanese debut on January 20 this year, 2019, through a show-con in Tokyo Dome City Hall and promoted their first Japanese single titled "Suki to Iwasetai." The music video of the song was launched five days after and gained more than 5 million views within a week. The track was officially released on February 6.
One month later, IZ*ONE's debut single earned a platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) after selling more than 250,000 copies. The track "Suki to Iwasetai" even broke the record for the highest first-day sales, which is attained by a K-pop girl group. Also, the track topped numerous J-pop music charts.
On June 26, IZ*ONE publicized the second Japanese single entitled "Buenos Aires." This song soared to number one on several charts in Japan as well. In addition, "Buenos Aires" is the second Japanese track of the girl group that is certified platinum by RIAJ.
On another news, ahead of the girls' comeback with "Vampire," they recently revealed a music video for "Love Bubble" - one of the songs from their upcoming album. It was sung by IZ*ONE unit (Type A) called LOVE BUBBLE, which is composed of members Sakura, Hitomi, Eunbi, Hyewon, and Yuri. The song features a catchy and cute tune that is sure to capture the viewers' hearts. Members Kim Minju and Miyawaki Sakura are the ones who wrote the lyrics of "Love Bubble."
Furthermore, for the "Vampire" album, IZ*ONE Type B unit are Yena, Wonyoung, Nako, Minju, Chaeyeon, and Yujin. And aside from "Vampire" and "Love Bubble," another song is included in the new extended play, titled "Kimi Igai."
Meanwhile, the single "Vampire" will be released on September 25.
