MLD Entertainment Responds to Dating Rumors about MOMOLAND's JooE

MLD Entertainment clarified the rumors about MOMOLAND member JooE being in a relationship.

The idol's agency has denied the rumors surrounding JooE. MLD Entertainment has released an official statement regarding the matter, stating, "After asking JooE herself, we have verified that the man in the picture is an acquaintance of JooE that she has known for more than a decade. He assisted her in purchasing some sound equipment."

They added, "We found out that the photos were edited with a malicious objective and intentionally spread. We had been staying quiet as we thought the rumors don't deserve a response, but since our artist said that she is experiencing discomfort on account of the baseless rumors, we decided to bring legal proceedings against the person who first shared the images, and also against malicious commenters."

On a different note, MOMOLAND has finally released their first Japanese album called "Chiri Chiri," with two versions: Normal Edition and First Press Limited Edition that includes a DVD with the music videos.

Two days before they launched the album, the girl group shared the music video for the title track "Pinky Love," which is a very adorable, fresh, and catchy song. The MV even looks bright and colorful, with fruits and shapes in the background, plus the girls' cute expressions and outfits. And as of September 6, the MV reached more than 470 thousand views.

The album "Chiri Chiri," as well as the songs only feature six members of MOMOLAND - JooE, Nancy, Ahin, Hyebin, Nayun, and Jane. Other members Daisy and Taeha are still in the stage of recovering from their health issues, while Yeonwoo is currently overcoming her panic disorder and social anxiety ahead of filming for her new drama titled "Pegasus Market."

Furthermore, the Japanese album contains ten tracks, most of which are the Japanese versions of MOMOLAND's previous hit songs such as "BBoom BBoom," "BAAM," "I'm So Hot," "Only One You," "Wonderful Love," "Curious," "Freeze," and "Welcome to MOMOLAND." And aside from the title song "Pinky Love," the album has another new song titled "Chiri Chiri."

MOMOLAND held their first fan meet for the promotion of "Chiri Chiri" in Tokyo, Japan on September 5. They will have the same event on September 9 in Osaka.
