Dream Note Members Habin and Hanbyul Decide to Leave the Group

The girl group's management company iMe Korea announced that members Hanbyul and Habin decided not to go on with their promotions as part of the group.

According to the label, Habin continually had pain in her ankle even after going back to her schedules and dance practices. She has been experiencing an ankle injury before the group could also promote their latest track this year. iMe Korea reported last March that Habin twisted her leg during practice and had been rushed to the hospital. Thus, she was unable to join the promotions.

Considering that Habin should focus on her full recovery instead of carrying on with the group activities, she will be saying goodbye to Dream Note.

As for Hanbyul, she will be taking a break from entertainment promotions to decide on her future career path for some time, together with her family. She will be leaving Dream Note and going back to her family in the meantime.

The two members, however, will be staying with iMe Korea, as their contracts remain valid with the label. iMe Koreans asked fans for their never-ending support for Dream Note, as well as for Habin and Hanbyul.

Habin is the main dancer of Dream Note, while Hanbyul is the "maknae," the youngest among the members. Habin was introduced as a member of the girl group on April 18, 2018, while Hanbyul was on May 2 that same year. Hanbyul was a participant in JTBC's survival reality show "MIXNINE," along with Dream Note co-member Sumin.

Dream Note is an eight-member group that debuted on November 7 with the album titled "Dreamlike," which consists of six tracks including the title song "Dream Note." The group sang the original soundtrack for a 2018 Korean fantasy, romance drama "When Time Stopped," titled "As You Dream." It is said that Dream Note was supposed to be composed of nine members, but a member named Jinsol left sometime before they debuted.

The girl group made their first comeback on March 12, 2019, with their second single album called "Dream: us," with "Hakuna Matata" as its title track. Also this year, Dream Note was nominated for four awards for M2 X Genie Music Awards: The Top Artist, The Female New Artist, Genie Music Popularity Award, and Global Popularity Award.

We wish every success for the two members in their future endeavors.
