SATURDAY is currently a five-member girl group signed under SD Entertainment.
SATURDAY members were separately introduced between the first and second weeks of July 2018. That same year on the 18th of July, the girls debuted with the song "MMook JJi BBa." The group initially consists of seven members - Chohee, Sion, Sunha, Chaewon, Haneul, Ayeon, and Yuki. However, member Chaewon left the agency almost five months after debuting as she wants to focus on her studies.
On December 3, the group returned with a special Christmas single album called "To Sunday Christmas," comprising of three tracks. The first one is titled "All I Want For Christmas Is You," which is a cover of Mariah Carey's song of the same name. It was duetted by members Sunha and Sion. The second is "In Your Eyes," which members Ayeon, Yukim and Hanuel performed. The third song is "Kiss Me" sang by Chohee.
Earlier this year, Juyeon was introduced as the new member of SATURDAY. On February 13, the girl group launched their second single album called "Follow SATURDAY" with the title song "WiFi." Again, another member ended her contract with SDE, which is Sunha, then Minseo was added to the group, retaining the seven-member lineup.
On August 22, SD Entertainment announced through the group's fan cafe that SATURDAY would be continuing with only five members - Juyeon, Hanuel, Ayeon, Yuki, and Minseo. Members Chohee and Sion are still in discussion with the agency regarding their future activities.
