Tiffany Young Flaunt an Impressive Voice on 'The King of Mask Singer'

In the program, she contended against another masked contestant, Assorted Savory Pancakes, to compete for the King round. The latter performed Butterfly by Ha Dong Kyun, whilst The Rose of Versailles sang Rose of Betrayal by Uhm Jung Hwa.

Unfortunately, The Rose of Versailles lost a few points to Assorted Savory Pancakes, giving way to the latter to compete for the final round and making The Rose of Versailles unveil her identity. If you don't want spoilers, do not read beyond this.

It turns out that the Rose of Versailles is none other than Tiffany Young!

Upon revealing herself, she said, "I came to say hello because I recently began a tour in celebration of a new release, and I wanted the tour to start from Seoul."

The singer also explained why she chose the song Rose of Betrayal, "The diva I came to relate to as I entered my 30s is Uhm Jung Hwa. The song gave me inspiration."

Tiffany concluded her mini-speech with, "I'm able to courageously promote like this thanks to my fans. I will continue to present good music that shows constant growth."

Then, after the broadcast, Tiffany shared what she felt when she joined the TV program.

"The Rose of Versailles from 'The King of Mask Singer' was me, Tiffany. I was excited as it was my first time appearing on TV in a while, but I became very nervous as I stood on stage. However, it was a grateful opportunity for being able to say hello during the holidays. I hope that there are more opportunities to meet you in the future. I hope you spend the rest of the holidays well," she wrote on Twitter.

Meanwhile, the Girls' Generation member just opened up about her pursuit of an acting career and how much her members, who she had just celebrated 12 years of togetherness with, and her fans.

"As a girl group, our 10th anniversary was meaningful too, but even two years after that we still reach out for each other first and the atmosphere between us is so good. We cherish and respect each other so much that after we finished our 10th-anniversary album and we had our contract renewals coming up. We talked a lot about things such as asking each other what we wanted to do as the person Tiffany or the person YoonA. I wanted to go to acting school and try breaking into the U.S. market, and the members knew about that dream," she added.

"When I was doing an interview in America, I said that when I needed a family and a home, my members and music were there for me. In particular, my fans became my heart's home. They made a roof over my head and seem to be always protecting and cherishing me. Now in the opposite way, I want to protect them and do greater things for them. We have a warm relationship," the singer went on.
