Ex-Brave Girls Member Seoa Quashes Malicious Rumor That She Filmed A Provocative Video

In a video shared on YouTube in August this year, bearing the title "I Am Not From XX," Seoa opened up about the allegation by saying, "I started broadcasting on Afreeca TV on January 8 of this year. Before that, I had never done a broadcast on any domestic platform. I was born with the name Park Seo Ah, and under that name, I decided I would live without acting shamefully."

The former Brave Girls member went on, "Recently, there's been some upsetting events happening to me. A lot of people are misunderstanding me, but I've never done a beotbang or mohmcam. There are also lots of people saying that I tried to change my name. I don't want to be misunderstood any longer. I saw that the matter only grew larger when I stayed quiet, and there were a lot of fans who were worried about me."

Further, to prove that it was not her, Seoa showed her mole on her left arm while tears are running down her cheeks.

"I've had this mole since I was in elementary school, and I don't cover it with concealer. I didn't change my name. I'm so upset. [The person in the alleged videos] isn't me. I've never done such a thing," she said.

Seoa, who is now a broadcast jockey, debuted with the group Brave Girls in 2016. She parted ways from the band in 2016. In 2017, Yoojin was the one who then departed to focus on her studies, whilst Hyeran took a hiatus from the group to tend to her health. This resulted in only five members left who continued to promote and released a mini-album, "Rollin'," in March of the same year.

In 2018, Brave Girls unveiled the "New Version" for "Rollin'," but only as a quartet. This was due to Hayun's temporary leave due to health reasons.

Last January, she launched her own YouTube channel, "Park Seoa TV" and began broadcasting on the video-streaming platform Afreeca TV.

Meanwhile, Brave Girls - now composed of Yuna, Eunji, Yujeong, and Minyoung - are slated to make a comeback, as per Brave Entertainment's announcement on September 16. The agency added that the ladies are presently preparing and polishing their skills for this return.
