Buzz around the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has been swirling, and a leak of the device's existence is "confirmed" proof. On the Samsung Apps website, a listing for the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini existed briefly before being taken down. And now that the device's existence has been confirmed, a release date is expected this summer.

The specifications and alleged pictures of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini have also leaked. Even before the Samsung Galaxy S4 had launched, rumors that a mini version of the Smartphone would be released were circulating. The mini was expected to be announced with the full-size Galaxy S4 release date, and when it wasn't, fans were disappointed-but now, we have confirmed evidence.

The Samsung Apps listing has been removed, but we do know that the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will theoretically have a 4.3-inch qHD display and be launched in four different versions. The smartphone run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, as well as Samsung's Touch Wiz Nature UX. The mini will reportedly be packed to the gills with 8-megapixel camera, a 2100 mAh battery, and connectivity options including 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and AGPS. Fans hope there will be at least a dual-core processor, 1 GB RAM, and 8 GB internal memory; an 8-core processor is not expected.

There are likely to be four versions of the phone, which is to be a stripped-down version of the full size Galaxy S4. First, there will be a single SIM phone that touts which will come with a quad-core processor and support HSPA+, model number GT-I9190. Second, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9192 will have a dual-SIM and dual-core processor. Third, Samsung Galaxy S4 mini GT-I9195 will likely support LTE. And finally, there will be a China-only model launched for the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini, model number GT-I9198.

The most likely release date at the present time for Samsung to launch the Galaxy S4 mini is slated to be the week of July 15, 2013.

What's next for the Samsung Galaxy S4 family? Possibly a more durable version, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. But for now, the Mini is confirmed to exist. And with the confirmed existence, a Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini release date is imminent.
