From November 15 to 17, the boy group held their first fan meeting with five members after two years and three months. Since Minhyun became part of the project male troupe Wanna One from August 2017 to December 31, 2018, NU'EST continued to release songs as a four-member group that time and promoted as a special unit called NU'EST W until Minhyun returns after Wanna One's disbandment.

NU'EST W had their first fan meeting last 2017 on August 26 and 27 in Seoul, called "L.O.Λ.E & DREAM." And recently, all members of NU'EST are back to perform for their fans at their three-day event called "L.O.Λ.E PAGE," which refers to their fandom name and concept. The fan meeting took place at Olympic Park KSPO Dome and had a theme from a fairytale titled "The Elves and the Shoemaker."

In addition, it is said that the event was sold out, with a total number of 26,000 people occupied the seats. During the show, NU'EST performed some of their songs, among them are "Bass," "Bet Bet," and their latest release "Love Me." The boys also enjoyed playing games with the fans.

NU'EST made their debut in Korea in March 2012 with their first track titled "Face," while their Japan debut was in November 2014 with the single "Shalala Ring." In 2017, four NU'EST members competed in the survival reality show "Produce 101 Season 2," notably JR, Minhyun, Baekho, and Ren. On the final episode of the program, Minhyun ranked 9th, Baekho took the 13th place, JR finished 14th, and Ren was in the 20th spot.

This year NU'EST members reunited and signed together their new contracts with Pledis Entertainment. Last March, the boy band launched a special digital single titled "A Song For You" to commemorate their seventh anniversary since debut.

From April 12 to 14, NU'EST conducted their first solo concert in six years, titled "Segno" and performed to 36,000 fans. Then, on the 29th of that same month, the group launched their sixth extended play labeled "Happily Ever After" that features the title track "Bet Bet." The EP is their first release after almost three years since their last EP "Canvas," issued in August 2016 and the last part of their three-piece series the "Knights searching for the Queen" story.
