Perhaps you’ve read recent news articles circulating social media about this famous idol announcing on his Instagram account about his marriage to his long-term, non-celebrity girlfriend, who is also bearing his child.

Oh! Speaking about weddings, you’ve probably seen, clicked, and read one of many articles about Korean idols and celebrities getting married, so here’s another list of married idols that you were probably not aware of!

1. Taeyang (BIGBANG) and Min Hyorin

BIGBANG's Taeyang and actress Min Hyorin's wedding was possibly the most talked about and anticipated wedding of 2018, it was a beautifully unforgettable occasion and had an A-list guest list. Hyorin was Taeyang's first official girlfriend, and after revealing their relationship to the public in 2015, they received supportive and positive feedback from their fans and Korean citizens alike.

Their plans of marriage were announced in December of 2017, where they confirmed that preparations were being ensured for their weddings, which were scheduled in February 2018, a few days before the groom-to-be had to enlist for the mandatory service in the military.

2. Rain and Kim Tae Hee

Jung Jihoon and Kim Taehee have been dating for five years before they decided to get married on January 19, 2017, they made the mutual decision to keep everything as simple and necessary as possible, only spending a little over $2,000 on their church wedding.

Rain, having used a tux he already owned and Taehee having designed her dress to be something anyone could wear. They also forfeited the thought of hiring professionals to capture the moment and instead relied on their guests to take it for them.

This was due that both individuals agreed that "A wedding ceremony is about two people being happy." and nothing else. The bride did not want empty formalities or vanity during their special day, and she wanted the opposite of grandiose, so Rain did everything to do just that. The two met in 2011, on a set where they filmed a TV commercial for Coupang.

They were currently a family of four as of September 2019 when the actress gave birth to their second child, who was revealed to be another girl. Their firstborn was delivered in October 2017, a few months after their wedding.

3. Lee Hyori and Lee Sang-soon

Lee Hyori is considered a legend among Korean artists not only due to her sex appeal image and her activism but also because of her impressive solo career as an artist and as a commercial and advertising model. She married Lee Sang-soon, who was the former guitarist of Roller Coaster and whom she collaborated with for a song that was recorded to support animal shelters, during the height of her career in 2013.

They both returned from their hiatus as a public figure in 2017 when they started filming the reality TV show Hyori's Homestay, which featured their beautiful home in Jeju Island and their ever-changing celebrity employees. Currently, there are only two seasons of Hyori's Homestay, updates about a third installment haven't been announced.
