The rookie Korean idol group A.C.E, who debuted in 2017, has suffered severe mental health weakness following the attacks they have received from the past days. The male idols have been involved in an attempted vehicle terror attack, which allegedly caused by a sasaeng. (obsessed fan turned into hater)

On the 20th of February, the agency of the group Beat Interactive released an official statement through their official social media accounts following the controversy A.C.E. has faced. It was reported that on the 18th of February, the K-pop group who came from their practice room and on their way to their respective home and dorm was involved in a "super glue" car attack.

According to the company's official release, "Hello, we are Beat Interactive. Due to the fans who were worried about what happened last night, we want to convey the current situation and explain the future course of action."

"There was a bond attack near the A.C.E. practice room yesterday evening on the 18th of February." It was then explained that the suspect of the incident had identified the artist's travel time as well as their travel route in advance, with the intent of harming and destroying the members' health and property.

Fortunately, the incident has been reported to the local police immediately and is on the process of investigation.

Following the incident, the members of the group are reported to be suffering severe trauma, psychological anxiety as well as the fear that the incident might happen again.

The "Superglue attack" is explained to be similar to TVXQ's Yunho attack way back in 2006, wherein the suspect disguised as a fan and gave the idol an orange juice wherein without Yunho knowing, has a super glue mixed on it. The male idol has been hospitalized for months and suffered intensely, but luckily survived the poisoning that destroys some of his organs.

The concept of the suspect to the A.C.E case has the same concept but used a different method. Using superglue, the sasaeng had attempted to put the liquid on some parts of the car for it to malfunction, aiming the members to face a car accident.

Prior to this incident, A.C.E. has been receiving malicious comments and false rumors that are spreading in K-pop fan communities, and it was noted that the same suspect of this is the same involved person in the car attack.

Meanwhile, the members of A.C.E, Jun, Dong Hoon, Wow, Kim Byeong Kwan, and Chan, who were in shock and mental health unstableness, will be adjusting their future schedules, who are also set to seek psychiatric consultations.

"Also, A.C.E., who has been posted on social media with false dissemination of facts, outright human attacks, and malicious defamation, has been appealing to levels of mental pain."

In response to this, the agency will be taking on legal actions to protect the idols.

"Therefore, we have concluded a criminal defense complaint delegation agreement with a law firm specializing in the relevant field and decided to proceed with complaints about defamation and interference."
