On the 4th of March, ASTRO's Yoon Sanha and Moonbin are officially part of the new line up of MC's for the music broadcast, "Show Champion," along with the K-pop group VERIVERY's member, Kangmin.
It was recently revealed by the MBC, the broadcast channel of the show that the three equally good looking and talented K-pop idols will be the trinity who will bring color and vibes to the show.
Prior to this, Fantagio Music, the label of ASTRO's member Sanha and Moonbin, announced through an official press release that, "This coming 4th of march March, ASTRO's Moonbin and Sanha will be showing their hosting skills and energy as the new MCs of "Show Champion."
In addition to this, Yoon Sanha and Moonbin, the member of the growing Korean idol group ASTRO, who will be in charge of setting the lively and friendly atmosphere during the show, assured fans and viewers that they are ready and is planning to attract the audience through their chemistry including Kangmin.
When asked about their thoughts as the new hosts of the show, the male idols then said, "We really wanted to have the opportunity [to host a show], that's why we are delighted upon this great news. We may be lacking in some aspects, but we will not end here and try to become the best version of ourselves. We will strive to deliver a different kind of episodes to the viewers and audience every Wednesday."
"Show Champion" is one of the longest-running music show aiming to select the "champion" or the best of best in the music industry through sets of criteria. To identify the weekly winners, the result will be based on the percentage, including the standing of the idols' digitals, album sales, online ranking, pre-voting, and critic's choice.
On the other hand, ASTRO's Moonbin was known for his strong appearance when it comes to stage, also labeled as the "stage master." Aside from captivating his fans through his fantastic singing skills full of sweetness and charms, Moonbin is also famous for his outstanding visuals, as well as for his acting. Recently, he appeared on one of the successful coming-of-the-age Korean drama, "Eighteen Moments," starring singer and former WannaOne member, Ong Seongwu, together with Kim Hyang-gi. Moonbin played a supporting role on the show, and due to his boyfriend's material and cute character, it wasn't hard for him to gain the attention of several viewers.
Meanwhile, Yoon Sanha, who is the youngest member of the group, captures lots of hearts from the netizens as he transformed from having the cutesy image to a more mature concept during their promotion for their latest album, "Blue Flame.
Moreover, the two idols will be tagging along with VERIVERY's Kangmin, who will complete the line-up of the MCs. Kangmin is the youngest member among the trio, who recently turned 17 [international age] on the 25th of January. He debuted last year and is now ready to show off more of his charms on the show.
"Show Champion" is set to air this 4th of March, 6 PM KST.
