In February this year, EXO's leader Suho has been reported to be gearing up for his first solo debut along with his solo album. Suho will be the fourth one in the group to debut as a soloist, following Lay (who is actively promoting in China), Chen (who released his second album in October 2019) and Baekhyun (who debuted solo in July 2019).
On March 6, EXO's official social media accounts and various news outlets revealed the release date and the name of his forthcoming solo album, 'Self-Portrait'. The album is slated to come out on March 30 at 6:00 P.M. KST. Other details were also unveiled, such as the versions and the number of pages.
'Self-Portrait' will consist of six tracks. The announcement added that Suho actively participated in writing and producing his upcoming songs.
SM Entertainment dropped the first teaser photo that shows the EXO's leader in a grayish and vague portrait. Moreover, pre-order of his much-anticipated solo album starts today, March 6, 2020.
