Starship Entertainment's new boy group called "CRAVITY" is about to debut. The agency announced in February that they are set to launch a new K-pop idol group, composed of nine members, this year. In line with this, they have officially announced the members, a teaser logo and its official social media accounts.
MONSTA X's handling agency officially gave details to the possibility of launching a new boy group under their management. Initially, nine boys will complete the line-up plus verified casts Kang Min Hee and Song Hyeong Jun, both former X1 members are set to debut with others.
On March 15, Starship Entertainment, through their official social media account, shared the logo showing the name "CRAVITY." Aside from that, the upcoming group's SNS have already been established, such as Facebook, Instagram and YouTube channel. As of writing, about 12.1k have already subscribed to their YouTube page, where a short video clip of the logo is seen. As for their Twitter account, 50.6k are already following while their Instagram story has initially reached 38k followers.
Who are the members of CRAVITY?
Today, they have officially posted on Twitter the names of the male idols who are set to emerge on the center stage. The agency calls these trainees as STARSHIPZ as a pre-debut training team.
1. Park Serim
A trainee since 2017, Serim was also YG Entertainment's final winner on its "Bundang LJ Dance Academy School 2017." He was Jeong Sewoon's backup dancer. He is, without doubt, a dancer and a rapper as well.
2. Allen Ma
Born in Taiwan but raised in California, USA, Allen speaks fluent English. He was once a JYP trainee in 2016 but left in 2018. He was almost part of the Stray Kids' line-up but did not make it. Now, he is officially debuting as Cravity's official member.
3. Seo Woobin
He officially joined Starship in 2017. This sweet-looking boy may slay his fans with his guitar skills. He is also a dancer.
4. Koo Jungmo
A former contestant of Producer X 101, he also speaks English. Similar to Seo Woobin, Jungmo also plays the guitar.
5. Ham Wonjin
Used to be a contestant from Produce 101 and speaks both Korean and Japanese, he was a former Big Hit Entertainment trainee as well.
6. Kang Minhee
He joined Starship in 2017 and participated in Produce X 101. He came from a family with medical backgrounds. According to sources, he was an academic achiever in school.
7. Song Hyeongjun
He is not new in the K-pop realm as he used to belong to X1 boy group. Therefore, it's safe to say that he already has fans. He looks up to MONSTA X.
8. Kim Taeyoung
A former SM Entertainment trainee, Taeyoung is a dancer and singer. Aside from being athletic, he trained as a vocalist. He did pass varied auditions in different companies.
9. Ahn Sungmin
He is the youngest member of the group and loves sports. He is even quoted as Park Jihoon's doppelganger, according to his fans.
