Euna Kim, a member of the K-pop duo KHAN with Jeon Min Ju, hinted that the band has dissolved after she replied to a comment of a fan in one of her Instagram posts. Moreover, their profile on Maroo Entertainment's website has been removed a few months ago.
On March 19, a fan asked if there is something that their fans should be looking forward to, maybe a comeback or any solo activities to prepare for, to which the artist Euna Kim replied, "No there won't be any, Sorry."
She added in a separate comment, "The company did us wrong once again, there were lots of other overlapping things that made it impossible to continue. But I am very happy where I am right now and very grateful, hopefully, one day I can do music again."
There is no official statement or confirmation from their agency as of writing.
The duo KHAN debuted on May 23, 2018, under the management of Maroo Entertainment. Euna Kim and Jeon Min Ju were former members of The Ark.
It was on May 23 when KHAN showcased their talents in the Move Hall in Hongdae during the promotion of their debut single "I'm Your Girl." This is the only track they have released during their time under Maroo Entertainment after debuting as a duo of KHAN.
Euna Kim and Jeon Min Jun debuted as members of The Ark in 2015, which disbanded after producing their single track "The Light." The two artists then tried their luck with attending many audition programs and have reunited to debut as a duo and have given birth to a band name KHAN.
On the day of the debut as KHAN, the duo was asked if they have any messages to deliver to their fans who have been patiently waiting for them to release new music. Jeon Min Jun tearfully replied, "After the disbandment that happened with our former group, The Ark, our fans never forgot about us, please keep on supporting us and give us strength."
Euna Kim then commented after her duo member's speech, "It was all after our former band The Ark disbanded when I truly realized how much our fans mean to us. Though we don't have many supporters, each and everyone who is showing us unconditional love and undying support gives us so much strength especially at times like this."
She added, "We had a long break while we are making our appearances on evert music audition programs, but our fans kept waiting for us to release good and new music, we are truly grateful for that. We are so sorry that we are not able to produce music with all of you for a long time."
The singer went on, "We will make sure that we will make it up and cope with all of our fans by doing our best, and we will promote and be active in a variety of ways."
