FTISLAND Lee Hongki's First Self-Written Song 'Orange Sky' MV Revealed

FTISLAND Lee Hongki's first self-written song "Orange Sky" has been released along with its music video. The song was selected as the finale soundtrack for the Japanese version of Lee Hong Ki's film debut in 'Passionate Goodbye,' creating a lot of buzz prior to the release of the music video.

The movie 'Passionate Goodbye' will open in Korea on May 30. In Japan, the movie will play under the title, 'Phoenix Song of Promise,' and premiere on June 7.

Lee Hong Ki's first self-written song features his explosive vocals and sensitive expression of delicate emotions. It will be included in FTISLAND's third Japanese album RATED-FT which will be released on June 5.

Lee Hong Ki has written the lyrics for many of FTISLAND's songs prior to "Orange Sky." This is the first time, however, that he wrote and also composed an entire song included in an official album.

"Like the title, 'Orange Sky' is a warm, emotional song. I am very happy and proud that my first creation has been chosen for 'Passionate Goodbye.' I have been in many music videos in my career but this was the first to have just me in the entire shoot. I was nervous throughout but I think we put together a great music video, so I'm glad," said Lee Hong Ki.
