The New Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock Is Adorable! ABC Season Premiere Last Night Had Hot Bachelors; Betting on Zak And Ben![VIDEOS]

The new bachelorette, Desiree Hartsock, is totally adorable as the new bachelorette. The new season of The Bachelorette premiered last night and the verdict is in: Desiree Hartsock is charming and seems genuine, which is rare for the bachelorette.

Desiree Hartsock was a smart choice by ABC for The bachelorette. Her emotional exit last season by Sean Lowe made her seem more human and not afraid to show her true feelings. The sendoff was shocking and left the viewers wanting more Desiree. Well they got it!

Not only is Hartsock a more likable leading lady than recent bachelorettes but the bachelors who showed up to win her heart have an entertaining range.

There are a few guys who seem honestly interesting and engaged in the courting process along with, of course, a few total nutjobs, including the guy who keeps asking the poor girl to go back to the "Fantasy Suite" as if it's closing time at the bar and he's trying to take a girl home. He's totally creepy. But Desiree knew better and threw him out of the competition before the first rose ceremony kicked off.

And then there was the guy that came dressed as her knight in shining armor. The cheesy factor was so high, even the bachelorette herself couldn't help but send the corny costume wearer home.

Desiree is allowed to give out roses throughout the night, which creates a new degree of tension as the flower plate gets lighter hour by hour and the tension leads some guys to do incredibly stupid things.  One guy came shirtless and proceeded to jump in the pool to get the bachelorette's attention.  Though it seemed super desperate, the attempt worked and Desiree gave "shrinkage" a rose as he walked out of the pool.

Shrinkage, aka Zak, is one of the hottest and most liked bachelors on the bachelorette. The oil tycoon seems funny and free-spirited. He is my personal favorite and I am betting that Desiree picks him to at least have a hometown date with.

The only other bachelor that has stood out so far is Ben, a Texas-based entrepreneur and single dad. He got the first rose of the night, called the "first impression rose." Des may have handed the rose to Ben, but it was really intended for his scene-stealing four-year old son, Brody, who charmed Des by handing her a flower and half-pouting, "I wish I could go to the party," before getting handed back to grandma.

Watching the coming attractions for the season it looks like Ben isn't exactly who he claims to be and he will be the villain of "The Bachelorette." There is always at least one!

Overall the new bachelorette has a genuine smile, seems honestly engaged in the process, and will be easy to root for week in and week out.  Can't wait to see who she chooses for the first one on one dates next week. My guess; Zak and Ben!
