Gisele Bundchen Shuns Makeup? Why The "Real" Photo Shoot WIth "Imperfections" Is A Lie; Black And White Photos, A Supermodel..That's Not Real![VIDEO]

Gisele Bundchen shuns makeup in a new photo shoot. Gisele teamed up with creative director Johan Lindeberg for BLK DNM, in which she posed without makeup for the photo shoot, saying she wants to embrace her imperfections.  But the photo shoot was in dark, special lighting, in black and white photos! done by supermodel Gisele Bundchen! What imperfections?

Gisele Bundchen talks about the photo shoot and how she didn't wear makup on camera:

"I came in and I met him and I said, 'this guy he's a very real, nice person. I want to do something with him,'" she told Fashionista. "And then he said okay we have two hours, let's just do it now - no hair, no makeup and really real."

Bundchen couldn't stop gushing over Lindeberg's style.

"I love his approach because I feel like women should be really real and raw and it doesn't really happen anymore [in fashion photographs]. I love that feeling of, you know, we are women, we are so different, our imperfections are what make us unique and beautiful," she continued.

"He gets that. He's not trying to retouch you or put a pretty light on you. He's not like 'you gotta look a certain way.' He's like, 'you are you' so now I'm gonna just be here with a camera, so express yourself how you like."

This is all lovely and all, and I am all for natural beauty and celebrating imperfections but there are three huge problems with this campaign:

1)   If you want real beauty don't pick the biggest supermodel in the world! You want to see imperfections? Don't pick a woman who doesn't have any!

2)   The photos are taken in special dark lighting and the shots are in black and white. Everybody looks good in black and white photos with or without makeup. A color photo with actual flaws would be more realistic.

3)   Who are they trying to fool? She's not wearing a ton of makeup, but she is wearing a little. Any woman can tell she's wearing mascara.

Do you agree with my list of why this "real woman" photo shoot is a bunch of BS?
