South Korean singer, songwriter, and actor Park Yoo Chun opened official fansite, following his drug scandal involvement last year. This stirred speculations among fans that he might be coming back for good.
The singer made headlines in January of 2019 when he tested positive for illegal drugs. In July of the same year, he was sentenced to a 2-year probation sentence with a fine of $1,200. Early this year, he expressed his side about not having the intention to go back on track of his career, when speculations stirred after he opened his social media accounts. However, a sign of his re-launching is sounding possible when he set up a site for his fans.
On his official SNS on the 16th, Park Yoo-chun said, "The official fansite" BLUE CIELO "is scheduled to open at 6 pm on the 20th. I ask for a lot of anticipation and love," he said. Before this announcement, he created a huge confusion among the netizens as he also held overseas fan meetings and even released a photo book on March 26, starting his return less than a year after the drug scandal.

His avid fans expressed their happiness for this news as they are always looking forward to having him back on the mainstream.
"Nice news! I wish that the hearts of all Chunsas continue supporting each step of #ParkYoochun with all my heart and love," one fan said on Twitter. It is still yet to be confirmed whether he is officially coming back for good or not.
However, some antis consider this move as a strategy of Yoo-chun to relive his career. Some consider this as blindfolding the netizens by denying his plans for a comeback when, in fact, there is a real plan to do so.
Park Yoo-chun, also known as Micky Yoo-chun, is a former member of the boy band, JYJ and TVXQ. Aside from his musical career, he also starred in some drama series such as the Rooftop Prince (2012) and Sungkyunkwan Scandal (2010). He used to live overseas with his parents, who separated later on.
In 2003, he officially started his road to K-pop stardom when he appeared on stage in SBS's BoA & Britney Spears Special Stage along with other TVXQ members. However, in 2009, he, along with fellow bandmates Jaejoong and Junsu, filed a legal case against SM Entertainment in line with contract problems. After some time, the dispute was solved between the two parties.
