For years, the LGBTQ+ community has fought hard for acceptance and equality. They have come a long way and still has a long way to go, but it's gratifying to see them having gained better acceptance compared to the narrow-minded past. And for a conservative country like South Korea, there are actually celebrities who openly support and embrace the LGBTQ+ community.

Below is the list of K-pop idols who were spotted with the rainbow flag.

1. BLACKPINK's Lisa

In one of their performances on stage, Lisa was seen holding the gay pride flag. Thailand, which is the K-pop idol's homeland, is known for its openness when it comes to transgender people because a ton of clinics in the country practice sexual reproductive change.

2. Red Velvet's Seulgi

ReVeluvs and non-ReVeluvs were amazed to see her proudly raising the LGBT flag on screen. In previous interviews, she has expressed that she appreciates them as individuals. She was even astonished to see the LGBT traffic light while on the streets!

3. BTS's Jungkook

The supergroup's maknae was also spotted with the flag. Netizens had seen how BTS openly supports the LGBT society as well, especially when the leader RM mentioned them in the United Nations General Assembly in New York in 2019, "no matter who you are, where you are from, your skin color, your gender identity."

5. TWICE's Chaeyoung

Chaeyoung melted hearts when she watched the movie "Carol," which centers around a lesbian relationship. The K-pop idol spoke positively about it and told ONCEs to watch it with an open mind, and added that love is love.

Chaeyoung's co-member Sana, in one of the group's previous interviews, shared that a family can have two mothers.

Other K-pop idols who support the LGBTQ+ community include MAMAMOO, Tiffany Young, Super Junior's Heechul, ex-Infinite's Hoya, HyunA, f(x)'s Amber, 2AM's Jo Kwon, former 2NE1's CL, SNSD's Taeyeon, and many more.
