EXO is seemingly starting a trend where the teasers tease to the point of agitation. Remember when teasers prior to their debut began to surface? And during the first one, everyone was already hooked. Months later, they released enough teasers to montage in two music videos. 

Whatever the strategy, the company is doing a stand up job at promoting these boys. They are being marketed in a way that seems appropriate for this generation and this crowd. Let's all refer to EXOhibit A: their new teaser photo releases.

Who else heard about the vampire image that was supposedly planned for this comeback? Either that was all bogus, or the members are students from the 1800's surpassing time with their eternal youth.

The teaser photos are quite enjoyable, I'd say. A lot of "boy next door" or "boy the next seat over" charm is being showcased and we like that because not only is it genuine, it's oh so very fitting. I think that with all of the hype surrounding this group, we sometimes forget how old they really are. Or rather, how young.

They came into the scene with this image of instant power. Literal powers. And when that was established, there was nothing else to modernize since they went far and beyond the realm of typical Kpop namja evolution.

However, could this be actually be actually a pretty solid plan in allowing EXO limitless possibilities when it comes to their comeback image? The real question here is, when are we going to see them as zombies, should this supernatural theme continue? SM should take heed.
