On the April 29th episode of MBC's Radio Star, Yulhee, a former member of LABOUM, had her first appearance on the national television after giving birth to her twin daughters.
Featuring Park Hae Mi, Hong Yoon Hwa, Im Hyun Ju with special MC Bong Tae Gyu, the former K-pop idol joined them and expressed her feelings as a "mother of three."
During the broadcast, Yulhee proved that she is indeed the former main dancer of the K-pop female group as she graced her dancing skills to fans, moving to the rhythm of ITZY's "WANNABE."
She started by showing off the famous Ryujin's shoulder dance, which she confessed later on that she practiced it in two days. Given that she only gave birth and is also taking care of three children, her skill is still one of the best, showing her versatility while dancing to a third-generation dance.
Meanwhile, during the talk segment of the show, the former K-pop idols shared her thoughts and experiences about having kids and being married at a young age.
Previously in 2018, FT Island member Choi Min Hwan wrote a letter to his fans, announcing that he and Yulhee will get married and is also expecting a child. They received several congratulatory messages and also appeared on "Mr House Husband" as a family of three.
As they announced their twin daughter's birth in 2019, the family bid their goodbyes as Minhwan is also set to enlist for mandatory military service. On the show, Yulhee then explained about the 'single parenting' his husband has caused because of going in the military.
"There are three children, and my husband is a full-time reserved soldier; thus, he commutes from home. He actually does most of the parenting. My husband is great with our children," Yulhee said.
"When I am at home, my mother, sister, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law come and take care of me as well. My family members live in Incheon and my in-laws live on different floors. Minhwan's sister is a stewardess, but she's taking a month off to help raise the children," she added, feeling grateful with the support she's receiving from her joint family.
Yulhee revealed that she thinks that taking care of children is truly her calling. When asked about having more children in the future, Yulhee said, "Since my parents gave birth to a late child (her younger brother), I thought I could also have another child later in life." and added, "My husband went to get a vasectomy, but the hospital rejected him. I heard it's not easy to solve this problem. Our doctor told us to come back later if we are sure we don't want to have any more children."
After the broadcast, former LABOUM member, Yulhee talks about her feelings after appearing on "Radio Star.
According to a Korean media, Yulhee said, "I am so grateful for the support that many people have sent me recently. I was busy with my childcare life, and it's been a long time since I've greeted you through entertainment shows, so it's a new feeling. "
She also promoted her official Youtube channel, "Yulhee's House", where she shares her life as a wife and mother of three wonderful kids.
