EXO's Baekhyun is celebrating his 28th birthday today!
Due to this, fans and supporters of the idol are currently trending a worldwide hashtag #HappyBaekhyunDay to express their love and birthday greetings to the precious EXO member.
To celebrate with his fans, Baekhyun, who is currently promoting as a member of EXO and SuperM, booked a special V Live broadcast on May 5 to meet and interact with EXO-Ls.
Initially, he communicated with his fans on his Twitter account. He made several tweets and even responded to some of his fans' messages to him. Baekhyun then asked them if they can meet him at 8:00 p.m. KST to celebrate the Children's Day, and at the same time, to have an advance birthday party [Kyoong Party].
Baekhyun shared that he's feeling bad for fans who can't meet him due to the coronavirus pandemic, that's why he conducted a Q&A session with them - he selected questions that were answered by the idol through his broadcast.
Aside from this segment, he also communicated with fans through sharing things about himself, excitedly showing his new haircut, and getting affirmation from fans that he looked younger with his new hairstyle.
Moreover, during the live broadcast, he also did an Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response or ASMR segment, which is a trend between K-pop idols and other YouTube content creators. On his ASMR, he used cola, snacks, and the cake that his friends brought for him before his live stream.

The EXO member also tried to do the popular hand gesture that most vloggers do to set the focus of the camera on an item. However, Baekhyun made his viewers laugh when he accidentally focused his hands instead of the snack he was trying to show to his fans.
Further, fans find it hilarious as well as how Baekhyun tried to take a nap, while his broadcast was ongoing.

And the most exciting part? Baekhyun had a solo concert during the live stream as he serenaded EXO-Ls with his solo songs, including the songs "Beautiful," the soundtrack of "EXO Next Door," and the tracks of his solo debut album "City Lights."
It's evident that fans enjoyed watching Baekhyun's party. The idol also explained that he wasn't able to update his YouTube account, KyoongTube, as he can't go outside.

On the other hand, Baekhyun also gifted his fans with the announcement of his upcoming solo comeback album. On the eve of his birthday, his official site on the SMTOWN website has been updated with a dreamy teaser photo of him.
Then, on the morning of May 6, Korean media outlets and EXO's official SNS confirmed that his solo comeback mini-album, titled "Delight," is set for release on May 25. The album will also have seven tracks in total.
EXO-Ls are now on the edge of their seats for this much-anticipated comeback, following his successful solo debut. Baekhyun amassed 500,000 albums with his first mini-album "City Lights" in July last year, making him a "half-a-million seller" and the best-selling soloist of the decade (noting that the last time a solo artist exceeded 500,000 copies of albums sold was in 2004-2005 by Seo Taiji).
Baekhyun also topped the "Album Sales in 2019" on Gaon Charts, plus he ranked first in 66 regions around the world, including the U.S. iTunes Top Album Charts, and top music charts at home and abroad.
