On May 16, the Korean Business Research Institute hailed BTS Jimin as the no. 1 for this month's idol brand reputation ranking, followed by EXO's Baekhyun as rank 2, while Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO sits on the third place.
The results were determined through four categories: communication, media coverage, community awareness, and consumer participation. This was conducted within the index of 630 male idols coming from different K-pop boy groups. The data was then collected and collated, starting from April 14 to May 15.
Jimin, a member of the global K-pop group BTS, stayed on the top for the 17th consecutive month, garnering a brand reputation index of 6,121,244, with a participation index of 935,894, and a media index of 1,499,544, a communication index of 1,981,807, and a community index of 1,703,999. However, comparing to his brand reputation index of 7,496,181 last month, the figure fell by 18.34 percent.
According to the analysis, the most linked keywords to him are "Perfect, Joining, Disclosure," and the words, "Lie, Filter, ARMY" were highly analyzed. In the positive maintenance rate analysis, the positive ratio was 80.83%.
Meanwhile, a member of the popular K-pop group, EXO's Baekhyun, ranked second, with a participation index of 1,423,076, a media index of 1,497,149, a communication index of 1,494,733, and a community index of 1,193,364. His brand reputation index stood at 5,608,321, down 10.12 percent from 6,239,442 the last month.
The male idol is currently gearing up for his sweet and sultry solo comeback, which is set to kick off on May 25. Earlier, Baekhyun dropped another teaser for his second mini-album, titled "Delight."
And lastly, Cha Eun Woo of ASTRO came in the third, with a participation index of 1,221,823, a media index of 1,758,333, a communication index of 1450,469, and a community index of 975,500, marking the brand reputation index of 5,406,125. It rose 78.15 percent from the brand reputation index of 3,034,647 last month.

ASTRO recently had their major return with their new EP, "GATEWAY," introducing a more powerful, time-travel concept comparing to their previous refreshing and pure image.
According to the members, "GATEWAY" is a door connecting them into two different spaces, reintroducing themselves.
